Solana-based Meme Coin Billy Surges Over 44% Days After Listing

Solana-based memecoin Billy has continued its upward trend, soaring over 44% in just a few days after being listed on major crypto exchange platforms. The dog-themed meme coin, which runs on the Solana blockchain, has seen a significant surge in value, with its price jumping by 44.7% to reach $0.1862, bringing its market capitalization to $189.5 million.

The impressive performance of Billy comes after several major exchanges, including Bittrue, Bitget, MEXC, and Gate.io, announced their support for the asset. This support has fueled the coin’s rally, with its value skyrocketing by 254% since its launch in June. In the last 7 days alone, Billy’s price has increased by more than 192%, outperforming the global crypto market, which is currently down by 7.40%.

Comparatively, other well-known meme coins like Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, Bonk, and dogwifhat have also experienced positive price movements in the last 24 hours. Dogecoin was up by 9.8%, Shiba Inu by 14.7%, Bonk by 10%, and dogwifhat by 16.4%. However, over a 30-day period, most of these meme coins have lost significant portions of their value, while Billy has continued to soar.

For example, Bonk saw a decrease of more than 32% in its price over the 30-day period, while dogwifhat went down by 40.6%. Shiba Inu and Dogecoin also experienced losses of more than 38% and 33%, respectively. In contrast, Billy’s impressive performance has set it apart from its competitors in the meme coin market.

Overall, Billy’s rapid rise in value and market capitalization demonstrate the growing popularity and potential of meme coins on the Solana blockchain. As the crypto market continues to evolve, it will be interesting to see how Billy and other meme coins fare in the coming weeks and months.
